MP vs. South Atlanta Saturday 8 p.m. Lakewood Stadium
However, we will screen each post before it's posted on this site. We will not publish any posts which contain direct criticism of specific players. As serious as we take high school football in Monroe County -- we must remember -- these are kids. They are trying their best. This is not the place for saying "#00 has no business playing on the offensive line. He stinks" or other personal attacks on kids who are 14, 15, 16, 17 years old. Sorry if you think we're wimping out, but if you want to hide behind the anonymity of a computer and launch personal attacks on kids -- then go to another vent. There are plenty of them out there that will allow these kinds of comments. If you have an observation about "Hey, our offense needs to works on its pass blocking" that's OK. But politics and personal attacks have no place here.
The same standard goes for coaches. If you have evidence that any coach is misbehaving or not acting ethically, please call our office or the board of education. We'll be happy to expose any misconduct that can be proven. But, mudslinging just because you don't agree with the coaches choices will not be posted here.
Let's get behind the Bulldogs and cheer them on, not tear them down.
GO DAWGS!!!

I agreee with the Reporter concerning blogs criticizing players. These are 15 - 18 year olds doing their best. Parents who continue to write questionable blogs, face book posts, and petty program ads need to adjust their lives. Why don't we put all that energy to supporting the team. GO DAWGS!
I want to first give praise to our Mary Person Bulldogs and especially to our coaches. I'm not from Forsyth but rather Atlanta. My first MP game was 5 years ago i was so taken by the spirit of the crowd and how loud it was. Now i must say, and i hope all fans see this, this is by far the least supportive crowd I have ever heard. Terrible. We pay our $7 and not only do we sit QUIETLY but also that pays for the right to make negative remarks about our coaches. What has happened here in Forsyth. Friday's crowd acted like their drinks were spiked with Valuum. Those coaches and our kids have sacrificed so much. They deserve far better than what we are bringing. $7 buys you a seat. The admission this year is MAKE SOME NOISE. These coaches give everything and more. The way i see it, the rest is up to us. Are you a leader? Let me hear you.
